8 Counts Slapped on Remanded Notorious Landguard; Captain Abu
It will be recalled that the East Legon Police command arrested the notorious landguard, Captain Abu for alleged acts of impunity including burning of buses, assault, violent attacks, threatening the peace as well as inflicting varying degrees of injuries on persons carrying out their work in Borteyman in peace.
He was subsequently transferred to the Greater Accra Regional Command where he was processed and arraigned before the Circuit Court for prosecution.
After making an appearance before the Court, he has been officially charged with 8 counts including; Causing Unlawful Damage, Conspiracy to Commit Crime, Prohibition of the activities of Landguards, Stealing, Assault amongst others.
These alleged criminalities were performed in cohort with some other miscreants namely; Ibrahim Adam,Adamu Yusif Haruna,Alhassan Boko,Lion,Aliu,Chowe,Tinny, Commander who are all at large and whose arrest is being facilitated rigorously by the Ghana Police Service.
Indeed, the Ghana Police Service and the Judiciary have done a remarkable job in protecting the people of Borteyman and Ghana in their incessant attempts to arrest these miscreants and ensure that such acts of blatant impunity are not replicated on any person within the jurisdiction.
To the other miscreants at large, it should be noted that the Police in league with the other institutions of Justice delivery are on hunt and wherever you perpetrate crime, the law will catch up with you.
