    Hundreds turn up for Anwamoo Festival 2023

    It was an atmosphere filled with pomp and pageantry at the Atomic Park during this year’s Anwamoo Festival.

    The event held on Sunday, November 19, brought together many Ghanaians and saw hundreds turn up to compete, eat, drink, network and have fun.

    This year’s theme was “Rep Your School,” which delivered a greater experience among patrons of the event which saw them clad in their alma mater attires.

    At the end of the most-anticipated cooking contest, representatives of Bole Senior High School emerged as the ultimate winners of the culinary contest.

    For their price, they took home bragging rights and souvenirs from sponsors of the programme.

    They were followed by representatives of Kumasi Anglican Senior High, Adisadel College and St.Louis Senior High School, who occupied second and third positions respectively.

    Lead organiser for the annual event, Afua Foriwaa Boafoh told the media that her objective for the festival was to promote a Ghanaian delicacy admired by many.

    Additionally, she said over the years, the Anwamoo Festival has become a platform for networking and for young entrepreneurs to reach out to their targets.

    She expressed her appreciation to every member of the organising team for their immense contribution in making the programme a success.

    The event which was attended by media personalities, politicians, corporate and business class was characterised by music and dance laced with a memorable Jama session.

    Anwamoo 2023 was partnered by Beyond the Return and Ghana Tourism Authority with sponsorship from Masim Rice, Bel Ice, Bel Aqua, LOTTOPAY Solution, Herbafrik, Fortune Rice 

    Lifemate Furniture, The Kitchen Pot Catering Services, and Dadeson.

    The event also had support from Souvenirs and More,

    Reggie’s Cake, Frytol, Flora, Sahara Solace, Yazz, Sherlock Security and Baby Me.
