    I won’t disgrace the President and Ghana – Chef Faila Assures

    Failatu Abdul-Razak, a Tamale-based Chef in the Northern region who is embarking on the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual, has assured Ghanaians that she would not disgrace the country in her pursuit.


    “This is a national assignment and if I fail this, believe me, I have put our president, Ghanaians, people who have supported, groomed me, my family and friends into shame”.

    According to her, she is fully prepared for the task and called for massive support from Ghanaians to left the flag of the country high on the global map.


    “ I am physically , physiologically and mentally prepared. This is for the nation and if I fail I have failed the nation but I won’t intentionally fail you and so I need your support to see me through this journey for mother Ghana”.

    She indicated that she would break the Guinness World Record in the longest cooking marathon by an individual and set an unprecedented record to ensure that nobody would be able to break it.

    “I will break the record and set another so that anybody who would want to embark on the cooking marathon will find it difficult to break”. She said in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com

    Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak, is embarking on a Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual from January 1, 2024, to January 5, 2024, at the Modern City Hotel in Tamale in the Northern region.

    Ugandan chef Dorcus Mirembe, popularly known as Mama D, has however broken the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon set by the Irish chef, Alan Fisher with a time of 119 hours 57 minutes.

    The Ugandan chef has set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon with a cooking time of 144 hours and 20 minutes.
