    Awards Centre Ghana boosts morale of Ghana Navy sports

    Awards Centre Ghana, a subsidiary of Point 5 Ventures, on Tuesday donated sports kits to the Ghana Navy at the Naval Headquarters in Accra.

    The donation was part of the Company's Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) and aimed at boosting the morale of the sports personnel in the Navy. 
    The kits include footballs, basketballs, customised jerseys and other sports equipment.


    The Chief Executive Officer of the Centre, Mr. Percy Kwesi Amuah, who made the presentation was accompanied by some members of staff, including the Public Relation Officer (PRO), Mr. Prince Annang.

    In a short speech, Mr. Prince Annang said the Centre believes in the development of sports at every sector, hence the company's gesture towards the Ghana Navy.


    The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu expressed gratitude to the company for the gesture. 
    He stressed that the collaboration between the two institutions highlights the importance of private sector support in fostering a strong bond between Ghana Navy and the communities it serves.


    He added that sports play a vital role in enhancing "Esprit De Corps" amongst personnel.

    He called on other corporate organisations to take a keen interest in sports and its  development. 
    He urged other corporate bodies to take a cue from the exemplary generosity of Awards Centre Ghana.

    The CEO of Awards Centre presented a custom-made jersey which features the name of the Chief of Naval Staff(CNS) Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu.
