Ministry of Sports and Recreation staff clean up as part of civil service week celebration
The Ministry of Sports and Recreation joined the nationwide clean-up exercise as part of the 2025 Civil Service Week Celebration and Awards Ceremony. Led by Chief Director Mrs. Wilhelmina Asamoah, Ministry staff undertook a thorough cleaning of the ministry's premises.
The clean-up exercise is one of the many events planned as part of the Civil Service Week, highlighting the importance of a clean and organized work environment to the Ministry's commitment to public service.
As part of the week-long activities, staff swept and weeded the ministry's forecourt and cleaned offices and surrounding areas.
This initiative reflects the Ministry's commitment to maintaining a clean and efficient working environment, aligning with the broader theme of adapting to modern technologies and practices within the civil service.
The celebration, organized by the Office of the Head of Civil Service, focuses on "Adapting to Automation, Artificial Intelligence, and E-Governance: The Civil Service in Contemporary Ghana."
As Ghana seeks to improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability, integrating automation and e-governance is essential. This theme highlights how the civil service can modernize operations to better serve citizens.
