Golden Smash: Adu Moslena & Rcheal Quarcoo Clinch Ghana's First Gold at African School Games
Ghana has secured its first gold medal at the maiden edition of the African School Games in Algeria 2025, thanks to the phenomenal performance by the Badminton doubles duo, Adu Moslena Ama Korama and Rcheal Quarcoo.
The talented pair made history after defeating Nigeria’s team of Adekunle Feranmi Cynthia and Adekunle Oluwagbotemi Precious in a thrilling final that ended 2-1 in favor of Ghana.
Before reaching the finals, Adu and Rcheal showcased their dominance by outplaying host nation Algeria with a straight 2-0 win.
Speaking after their incredible victory, Racheal Quarcoo said; "the game was very tough, and we didn’t expect to win. But thank God, we’ve won, and I thank God that we are taking the gold medal to Ghana.”
